LEAVES ‘EYES presents their next album’ The Last Viking ‘

The symphonic metal band Leaves’ Eyes announce through their networks the release of their eighth album, which is called ‘The Last Viking’, thus being the second album with Elina Siirala, which already has an official date (23 de October 2020), AFM Records.

The atwork has been created by Stefan Heilemann, produced by Alexander Krull at Mastersound Studio.

The theme of the album deals with England in the year 1066. The decisive battle near Stamford Bridge. Warriors fighting death, the land soaked in blood. King Harald III of Norway, called Hardrada («the tough ruler») is dying. His whole life passes before his eyes: cruel wars, fights for power, journeys to exotic worlds that guide powerful women, emperors and kings who fall into ruin. The last Viking king is dead – the age of the Vikings is over. Long live the Vikings.
