John DeMena Releases ‘Dreams and Lies’ Album

John DeMena, Spanish-born rock singer and guitarist from Los Angeles presents his debut album ‘Dreams and Lies’.

An album that features singles such as «Dreams and Lies» and «Eternal Eyes», whose music video, directed by filmmaker Ishan Shukla has already won several awards and has received more than a dozen nominations including two Hollywood Music in Media Awards.

The lineup of musicians on ‘Dreams and Lies’ includes DeMena on vocals and guitars, along with drummer Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper), keyboardist Matt Rohde (Jane’s Addiction) and bassist Pete Griffin (Steve Vai).

About this album, DeMena j himself tells us: «On ‘Dreams and Lies’ I wanted to write an album that combined the best elements of guitar rock, hypnotic instrumentation and thoughtful lyrics. I envisioned this album as a universe of great riffs, emotional solos, captivating melodies and vibrant atmospheres that I think both classic and modern rock fans will enjoy.»

John DeMena is a rock singer and guitarist from Los Angeles who has worked with producers and musicians from Alice Cooper, Jane’s Addiction and Jimmy Kimmel among others. His music has been featured on such distinguished media outlets as MTV and Loudwire in addition to being a featured artist on iconic labels such as Paul Reed Smith guitars and Ernie Ball.

Inspired by legendary artists such as Pink Floyd, Bowie, Alice in Chains, Pantera, Radiohead, NIN, and AC/DC-all of which can be noted on ‘Dreams and Lies’ in different ways-John DeMena aims to set no limits to his creativity while at the same time presenting himself to the listener as having an intimate and modern sound.
